AppearanceEdit

Throughout most of the installments Ganon appears as a large, humanoid pig. He usually has blue skin, wears a cape, and wields a trident.

In Ocarina of Time's final battle he appears as a humanoid pig, but with green skin and orange hair. He also wields dual swords in the same fashion that the Gerudo guards do (a possible reference to his being Gerudo). He also has a tail now.

In Twilight Princess Ganon is completely different. He still resembles a pig, however not a humanoid one. He has long orange hair, like his OoT counterpart, as well as black and white fur over his whole body. All in all, he looks a lot more feral than his previous incarnations. This is most likely to match Link's Wolf Form.

PersonalityEdit

StoryEdit

Legend of Zelda (NES)Edit

Ganon makes his first appearance in the first game in the series. He has taken Zelda hostage in order to claim the Triforce of Wisdom. He is defeated by Link at the end of the game. This also may be the only time that Ganon truly dies.

Zelda II: Adventure of LinkEdit

Ganon only appears in the game over screen. He appears as a shadowy figure that laughs as the text "Game Over. Return of Ganon" appears on screen.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the PastEdit

Legend of Zelda: Link's AwakeningEdit

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TimeEdit

Throughout the game, he appears as Ganondorf. When Ganondorf uses the Triforce of Power at the end of the game, he transforms into Ganon for the first time. He manages to corner Link, but is defeated by him and sealed into the Sacred Realm, which leads to the story of A Link to the Past.

AbilitiesEdit

Ganon's abilities change with each installment.

  • As is expected from his size, he is quite strong.
  • He may have the ability to choose his form most of the time. Seeing as his OoT, TP , and standard forms are different.
  • Ganon has the ability teleport. Either by use of portals or by vanishing and reappearing. He did not use any teleportation in Ocarina of Time, but this may just mean that he had little control seeing as it was his first time as Ganon.
  • Flame manipulation.
